Anchor Vans are one of the largest dealers in used vans and commercial vehicles for sale in the country. Working for Momentum Web Solutions I have created a structured keyword based and search engine accessable catalogue of their stock, linked to the rest of their site content by RSS feeds.

John List was employed to maintain and extend the sites on their existing content management framework, producing a searchable categorised article database and integrating e-commerce features into the sites.

Grocer Today

Grocer magazine, published by William Reed Publishing, is the premier trade magazine of the grocery and supermarket industry in the UK.
Grocer Today is their web portal, offering industry news, marketing reports, business information and grocery price tracking information to Grocer subscribers.
This is a fully content managed site powered by ASP and MS SQL server, created by a team of two contract developers of which John List was one.
Wedding Organizer - A web based wedding services directory.

The
Wedding Organizer is a set of A5 glossy books containing a comprehensive directory of local wedding service suppliers. The web site compliments the books by providing all the directory information as well as a constantly updated calendar of wedding fayres. John List was employed to rebuild the site with a new CSS and XHTML front end featuring a keyword search engine, and create a range of dynamic content management functions to allow the editorial team to change the content of the site at will.
First 4 Cruising - A web site selling cruises.

Page and Moy Travel are one of Britain's largest online travel agents. 1st4Cruising is their assault on the cruise market. While working for XKO Online John List was responsible for all the back end coding of this site, creating an XML based cruise search engine alongside the content management features.

BPP Virtual Campus - An online accountancy training system.

BPP

BPP Business Education are one of Britain's largest financial training companies. The Virtual Campus is their online learning system, enabling them to deliver courses on a one-to-one basis to students anywhere in the world. As part of a team of three developers working for XKO Online John List was responsible for several of the site's key features including a multi threaded discussion forum for student tutorials and an online examination system for marking electronic course work.

The Extracare Charitable Trust - A housing charity for senior citizens.

The Extracare Charitable Trust use their website to provide an online community among their senior citizen clients. While working for XKO Online John List was responsible for creating a multi-threaded community forum for this site.
SMIDSY - the Ixion mailing list Robot Wars entry.

SMIDSY is an entry in the British Robot Wars TV series built by a group of motorcyclists. The SMIDSY web site features a content management system written in PHP which allows the members of the team to add and edit news items and articles. The layout, design, artwork, copywriting and PHP coding of this website were all created by John List.
